Several elementary schools will offer community school summer programs on a tuition basis for preschool and elementary students during the summer of 2017. See the Community Education Summer program page for descriptions of the programs.
8 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., Monday - Friday, June 5 - 23
This program is held for identified and at-risk students in grades 2 and 3, and 8th grade students at risk for retention. It is held at various hub locations around the district. Lunch is provided at no cost between 12:00 – 12:30 p.m.

High school summer experiences offers high school credit recovery and acceleration opportunities at Catalina, Cholla, Palo Verde, Project MORE, Pueblo, Rincon, Sahuaro, Santa Rita, Southwest, and Tucson High.
AP Boot Camp is designed to offer students exposure to Advance Placement curriculum and rigor to encourage enrollment in AP classes.

Freshmen Academy is designed to welcome incoming freshman students to help strengthen their skills in mathematics and language arts. We will support student learning through a variety of engaging and hands-on activities while building their note-taking and social skills in a high school setting.
This program is for current 8th grade students who are being promoted and not in danger of retention. With successful completion of this program, students will obtain a semester of an elective high school credit.
